Thank you for shopping with Swiss Cottage Sound and Vision (SCSAV).Please read our terms and conditions that relate to shipping and returns.

 

SHIPPING

 

Once an order has been placed, and we have received cleared funds for that item, we will ship the goods to to you. If we have stated that the product is eligible for free shipping than the cost of shipping is borne by us.

 

Please note that we only offer free shipping to our customers in mainland UK.We do not offer free shipping to any of our customers outside mainland UK.

 

For all products that require the cost of shipping to be borne by the customer this will be detailed in the confirmation e-mail that is sent upon receipt of an order.Once we have received cleared funds for both the goods and shipping we will send the goods to you.

 

For ALL overseas customer shipping is chargeable and must be paid ahead of us sending the goods out.

 

Depending on what the item is we will use, at our discretion, the method of shipping.In the UK we will use either Royal Mail or UK Mail as the two main methods of shipping. We will always endeavour to send the goods out on a next business day basis.However, we cannot guarantee the arrival of the goods on a next-day-basis as it is out of our control.

 

Timed deliveries and Saturday deliveries: For those customers that want a timed delivery or want a delivery on Saturday we offer this facility. However, this will incur a charge or an additional charge that must be paid ahead of us shipping the goods.

 

Non Delivered items and items lost in transit: Once we have sent the goods we will assume that there will be someone to collect the goods. In the event that a delivery fails, as a result of no one being able to collect the goods, and needs to be redelivered this will incur a charge or an additional charge depending on what terms the goods were shipped.In the event an item is lost, and is verified by us that it is lost, we will send a new replacement at our cost. Or, we will offer a full refund if a replacement is not required.

 

RETURNS

 

We offer a seven day refund policy. Our customers must follow the following conditions for this to be effective:

 

  1. All customers must let us know, by either phoning us, or by letter, or by e-mail, that they wish to return goods to us. We will issue a returns authorisation number and this must be used when returning goods to us.
  2. The cost of returning and insurance will be borne by the customer
  3. The goods must be in perfect condition and in their original packaging and with all accessories
  4. Upon receipt we will check that the goods are returned and, if they comply with point 3 above, we will issue a refund in the same manner as the original payment.
  5. In the event that the goods are damaged in transit we will inform the customer and it will be the customers responsibility to have the goods collected from us and to make a claim against the insurance company.
  6. In the event the returned product is marked, or does not come back to us with its compete packaging, or is missing any of its accessories we will inform the customer of this and offer a refund that reflects the condition of the goods.

 

FAULTY PRODUCTS

 

  1. If a product is faulty out-of-the box we will, at our cost, have the product collected and a new replacement product sent out. Please note that our policy will always mirror that of the manufacturer.
  2. If a replacement is not required then we will offer a full refund.
  3. If a product becomes faulty within its warranty period we will effect its repair.However, the cost of shipping the product to us will be at the customer's expense.
  4. Out of warranty repairs will be effected by us after payment has been made.
